Tips to Create Your Baby Shower Registry

One of the most exciting things after I found I was pregnant, was getting my baby registry done.  Little did I know that this can get a bit overwhelming. With all the baby products and cool baby gadgets, you just want it all!! At least I did, but everything is so expensive. So here are some tips that I found helpful when creating my baby shower registry:

  • Go to the your desired baby registry place in person! This way you get to see and feel the items yourself.  You will know if you really like and/or need the item.
  • Do your research before you put things on your registry, this way you know exactly what you want and what you need.  You can also read reviews from other people that have purchased the items to help you decide on whether to get it or not.
  • Do not scan everything in the store.  You will not NEED or USE everything in the store! Save yourself the time you will take to return things.
  • Decide on your baby room/section theme.  This way you will know what color(s) to scan the products in.
  • Scan things that are both high and low prices because you do not want to make your guest feel like your not giving them enough options.  Remember that not everyone can (or want) to buy expensive things.
  • Do not scan too much clothes and toys.  Babies grow out of everything so fast and do not play with much at first.
  • Think of the things you will need down the line.  For example, high chairs, pack and plays, etc. Things that you will need eventually.

Make sure you look around and take your time...you have nine months for baby to get home. Hope this is helpful and have fun looking around!!
