- Sneakers- Find a good pair of sneakers, with a good fit that is made to support the type of workouts you do.
- Workout clothes- You want to be able to move comfortably in your clothes. So get yourself a good pair of leggings and sports bra.
- Polar Watch- I personally have a polar watch, but you can use any activity tracker that best fits your needs. Use it to set daily goals and enter meals for the day to keep you on the right track to achieve your fitness goal.
- Workout videos (if you are working out at home)- If you can not make it to the gym (like me) just workout at home! There are plenty of free workouts available online so there is no excuse for not working out at all. Even 30 minutes a day is enough.
- Weights- I use light weights (5, 10, & 15 lbs). Lifting weights help burn more fat and help tone your muscles.
- Workout Mat- Use a workout mat for better traction. (I use them to do my sit ups and push ups.)
- Water bottle- KEEP HYDRATED!
- Workout Journal- It helps to write down your beginning weight, goals, and your progress. This will help you keep focused on your fitness goal. It could be an app or an actual book to write in. The point is to be able to see your progress to help keep you motivated.
These are all the things that have helped me stay on track and achieve my fitness goals. My journey has just begun and I'm looking forward to my results. It takes time and dedication so don't get discouraged if you do not see results right away. Hope this helps you get started! Good Luck!
